OUR MOTTO: Each one reach one, each one teach one.

Our Mission Statement:

We covenant to be a New Testament community of believers, glorifying God, fulfilling the Great Commission by obeying the Great Commandment.

Our Past: We have existed in Columbus, Ohio for over 100 years as the First Free Methodist Church. Our present location is the fourth during this time. We are members of the Free Methodist Church of North America (FMCNA) and the Ohio Conference which is a subsidiary of the FMCNA.

Our Present: We remain active members of the Ohio Conference and the FMCNA. We desire to impact our neighbors with the love of God and the peace from God so that our neighborhood can be transformed from darkness to light.

Our Practice: We gather together as a community to encourage and build one another up in our faith.

What We Believe:

We are a holiness church in the Wesleyan (and Methodist) traditions.

1. We hold the Bible as the written Word of God and it is able to define the human predicament, which is separation from God via our sin, and the solution, which is reconcilation with God through the shed blood of Jesus Christ.

2. We hold that Jesus Christ is the full revelation of God in human flesh and that his death and resurrection provide full and sufficient payment for our sins. We believe that Jesus Christ is the only mediator between humans and God.

3. We maintain that God created all things which are in existence and that God sustains all life.

4. We maintain that a disciple of Jesus Christ is able to live a victorious life over one's sin by the empowering presence of the Holy Spirit.

5. We maintain that believers are to gather for fellowship and that all believers are responsible for making disciples.
