Our Anticipation

 

01.      Living Hope FMC will add a new church by the end of the conference year of 2011.

 

A.      We will work to achieve a minimum of 200 people in the existing congregation and then divide this congregation into two groups.

 

B.      We will begin with a servant leadership team to be in place by July 1, 2010 and have identified and called a second servant leadership team to work with the second church.

 

02.      Each time we build to 200 people, we will then divide into two congregations.

 

THE AMPLIFICATION

 

 

 

01.      The vision has to be substantial.

 

A.                         It will require more than the efforts of any one individual or the combined efforts of our servant leadership team.  It will need divine intervention.

 

B.                         It will reach from beyond the implementing generation into the next.  It will be of timeless impact.

 

02.      The vision has to be simple.

 

A.                         The results need to be easily apprehended.

 

B.                         The results need to be easily assessed.

 

03.      The vision has to be Spiritual.

 

A.                         The hand of God must be evident.

 

B.                         The leading of the Spirit must be prevalent.

 

04.      The vision has to be subsidized.

 

A.                         Praying

 

B.                         Calling

 

C.                         Investing

 

D.                         Training

 

THE ADMINISTRATION

 

 

 

01.Each congregation is free to choose their location and time of worship.

 

02.Budget and financial items will be under the auspices of “The First Free Methodist Church of Columbus” with each church plant becoming a separate division within this legal entity.

 

03.Teen ministries will be done by the corporate body and take place on week day evenings.

 

04.Children’s ministries will also be done as a corporate body on Saturdays.

 

05. Each society will be under a servant leadership team with their own board of directors and pastor’s cabinet.

 

 

 

THE APPLICATION

 

01.      Constant pursuing servant leaders according to the guidelines of Acts 06:02 – 04.

 

02.      Constant procuring property for church plants.

 

03.      Constant praying for refinements, guidance, and empowerment.
